Our Story
In 1954, Al Hamy Metal Factory was founded by the visionary Mr. Mohammad Riad Daouk, a man whose passion and expertise in metalwork and casting were unmatched. Upon arriving in Kuwait City, Mr. Daouk opened a modest workshop, where he began crafting exquisite items from gold, silver, and aluminium.
As the years went by, he astutely recognised the shifting market demands brought about by the burgeoning oil boom. Kuwait's landscape was transforming, with palaces and villas springing up, creating an ever-growing demand for quality metalwork.
In 1971, following the unification of the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Daouk seized the opportunity to expand his vision. After conducting thorough research, he established a factory in the UAE, a nation ripe with potential and a blank canvas for growth. This strategic move proved prophetic; what began as a small workshop evolved into a thriving enterprise, employing over 1,000 people.
Today, Al Hamy Metal Factory continues to flourish under the leadership of Mr. Daouk's sons, who remain dedicated to the legacy their father built. They honour his commitment to quality and innovation, ensuring that the story of Al Hamy, a testament to vision and resilience, continues to unfold.
